Brand new Fastfire 3. Opened to find out it does not fit on my new Canik.

The pistol doesn't come with a plate for a Docter/Noblex footprint?

It does but it’s still recesses below the slide and the Burris is 1.9” long. The Canik cut out is I believe 1.75 or close to that. Made to co-witness. I would need a special plate and I don’t want to do that.

Here's this. It might help searching a candidate MRD for the plates you have. Shields and some Holosuns are pretty small and might work well for a recessed plate.
