black vultures or turkey vultures? We don't have the black ones in the northern part of the state ever, and the turkey vultures migrate south of here all winter. Haven't noticed any extras during the summers though.

Just left Purcell about an hour ago and there must be 100+ buzzards flying. Never seen so many.

There have been buzzards downtown Tulsa for quite some time. Several of them soar/glide around the top of the Mid Continent tower at 4th and Boston.

Yeppers...

...and they seem to be everywhere. Our Summer jobs take us to various states with this year also being Rhode Island. They are up there too, but not in the same numbers as here in the OK/TX area.

I have some that roost in the big pines across the dirt road.
