Yeah, it just says chief law enforcement officer for your area. I don't live in the city, so that's the county sheriff in my case.

OK, so I think my application is approved and on its way...FINALLY. They ended up creating a new FFL# with the updated payment information. It took me calling several times for someone to realize it was going to take some human intervention to get it to finished. Can't get here soon enough, as I am working with someone on a new purchase and I wanted to use my 03FFL rather than do a transfer.
My C&R showed up today! Woohoo! I should have a new Mosin on its way tomorrow. Didn't want to waste any time. lol
I renewed mine in november and didnt get it back til march. They took their sweet time.
