If the liberals had their way if there were a war and we were hit with nuclear bombs we couldn't retaliate.

I do believe that is a major part of their goal. One thing the liberals will not get in the way of is a one world government.

Make no mistake. It isn't about saving the children. It isn't about stupid, either. It's about disarming the people to enable subjugation. No other answer makes sense.

Inducing fear of guns is about as effective as disarming as well.

I'd like to advance on this subject. The liberals have had full control of our children in schools for many years beyond obama.
IMHO, guns have became vilified by the left because of the highly publicized school shootings and I think a couple of attempted assinations of our recent presidents.
We have to start the education about safe guns in our schools. Our kids cannot even draw a symbol of Oklahoma without some liberal teacher thinking that's a gun and dismissing the kid from school.
There needs to be mandatory teaching in schools at an early age, and progressed from there to the upper grades. Eddie Eagle, an NRA function, goes to grade schools and teaches the kids among other things that if they see a gun, don't touch and notify an adult.
As they progress, the education should progress about the dangers of handling a gun improperly, and the consequences of not doing so.
Archery in the classroom is a hit with the kids now in Junior and High schools. Integrate that safety training with gun safety, and we have a winner.
