Sir, step away from the toolbox!
About the title of this thread: Yeah I'm a heartless b-----d. Boo hoo hoo.

Back in January, an inmate at a prison hospital allegedly killed two fellow inmates (both of them, convicted child rapists) by beating them to death with a cane, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Now the suspect has reportedly confessed, in a letter to California newspapers.

The killer (who was already serving a life sentence for a 2009 murder conviction) wrote he was upset because he was put in a lower level security classification and was moved into a pod with other inmates, including a convicted child rapist who apparently liked to watch children's programming on PBS.
When another inmate complained about the guy's TV viewing habits, the killer wrote in his letter that he said, "I got this," grabbed up his cane and starting bashing child rapist # 1 in the head.

Then he claims he went to find a guard and along the way saw another convicted child rapist and decided, "In for a penny, in for a pound," and fatally beat that guy also.

One of the assaulted inmates died the day of the beating, the other a few days later at the hospital.

But the suspect got what he wanted; they took him out the pod full of inmates and put him in "segregated housing" while the investigation continues.

It makes an interesting but maybe gory read:

Well, he "might" have taken it a bit far, but from what I've heard child abusers of all kinds are a "special kind of target" to the rest of general population in and out of prison.

Don't want to be a target? Don't be a child abuser.
