Been too long since anyone posted a 1911 picture... Here are my latest:

CMP Service Grade. Got it in the 2nd go round last October. Took exactly 2 years from my application submission to get the call. Colt slide and Colt frame tho they're mismatched. It's in really good shape and shoots great. '43 production.

Other is a new Colt O1911C Classic. Nothing special other than it's a Colt 1911.

New purchase. Springfield emissary in .45 acp. One range trip and I love it. The sights did it for me. I love the horseshoe rear and the super bright front. The grips are far stickier than I thought they would be looking at it. Aggressive all the way around. Trigger is normal 1911. Nothing to jump up and down about, just good. Shoots like a dream. I guess this falls around the TRP level. Upper end production maybe. Seems like a keeper to me.

Armand Swenson used to do the square trigger guards like that... I dig it.
