Stealing is the sincerest form of flattery.

It’s been mentioned that SA didn’t give Ned credit for the frag texture on the Emissary. He apparently did some consultation work for them and then they used his pattern without credit.
Hey man, if it helps with “gun” control then it’s all good, right

Sig Match got a few add on's over the holiday break too.
Full Length Guide Rod and Bushing
12.5# Silicone Recoil Spring
Wilson Combat Checkered Magwell/Mainspring Housing
Wilson Combat Starburst Grips
Dawson Precision Fiber Optic Front
Got some fence picts after a good cleaning. I think I'm done with this project. I might opt for an abi safety later, but not sold on it yet. The pattern on the main spring housing isn't exact, but it's close and I love it.

Thank you.

I was surprised they did. Both are actually made by VZ, so I'm wondering if they just took a set of Frag's, slapped a Wilson logo and cut a starburst pattern on them?

Pretty sure that VZ completely manufacturers Wilson's grips, makes the starburst cuts, and installs the medallion enlays. They just have an exclusive contract with Wilson Combat so VZ doesn't offer them for sale directly to the public.

I always like to see Doc’s work. My 1st 1911 was a Kimber that he replaced all the internals, added one of his thumb safeties and put in a high ride btgs. Dang is that thing sweet. It’s got the best trigger I’ve ever seen in a 1911.

Yes, accurailed. Groups real nice and tight. Did a “meltdown”, fit barrel bushing and all internals by hand. Adjusted and polished the trigger. Set at just over 2 lbs. built exactly the way I wanted it. Why I only have one 1911 now. Don’t need 5 when I got 100% the first time. Actually gave a Kimber away to a friend once this one was done.
