Hey ladies and gents, I bought 4 recovery points for my vehicle (solid piece of steel that can withstand off-road recovery) and the large hole for the shackle is 7/8" in diameter. Trouble is my shackles I bought has a 1" diameter pin. I was wondering if I could use someone's drill press to drill out the 7/8" holes in the recovery point to 1" to accept my shackles. Should take <5 minutes and I'll be happy to supply the appropriate drill bit if you'll let me know what kind to buy (if any special kind is needed)! Thanks for looking :)
