@tristanjay - Not even close. Debating is one thing, just spouting off is another.
111 executed in Oklahoma 1990-2014
484 executed in Texas the same time frame.

in raw numbers, that's perhaps true. but you have to understand that when we're talking about being more likely to be executed by Oklahoma than Texas, you also have to factor in how much larger Texas' population is.

1. Oklahoma

Population: 3,751,351

executed, 1976 - 2015: 112

Executions per Capita (x10,000): 0.299

2. Texas

Population: 25,145,561

executed, 1976 - 2015: 521

Executions per Capita (x10,000):
0.207

As you can see, it's not even close. Oklahoma has 30% more executions per capita than Texas. Oklahoma, in fact, has the highest execution rate per capita in the entire United States.

No... you make it SEEM like its easier to get executed in Oklahoma than Texas. Statistics are an odd thing people manipulate them all the time to make their argument more relevant. And Tristan that's what you did...

I say give each bails bonds a $500 reward for successfully capturing illegal aliens. More for illegal aliens that have criminal records.
