Can you supress an AK74?

5.45 x 39? Will/do they make a can that will match they thread pitch under the flash suppressor? Or am I just wishing in vain?

I would assume that you could get a machinest to make a thread adaptor to be able to use a supressor made for the 5.56

Yes you can. I did. I cant see any reason you cant suppress anything you want to.

If a .50 can be suppressed, I see no reason a 5.45 can't be.

How did you go about it? Is that a 5.56 supressor?

Its one I made on a form 1, made to be able to handle about anything that could send a bullet through it. Marked as .22 cal. Threaded to the flash suppresors factory thread. Terrible place to mount anything btw as the front sight is actually the threaded part and it presses and pins on the barrel. It is neither on center w/ the bore or square w/ it on the end. Keep this in mind.
