Car washes - minor rant

Despise automatic carwashes, my wife's car and mine, hand wash only in my driveway. Had my wife's car 1 month and took it to a carwash near Garth Brooks and Lowe's on 10th. A brand new soft cloth carwash. The soft cloths grab the dirt from the previous vehicle and slap it and slide it across your paint. Yup, that is what happened to the hood of my wife's vehicle, an 18 inch scratch. With that said I buy good Wash and Wax, pull out the hose and wash by hand once or twice per week. At least 2 X per year I wax them. Both cars have a like new appearance.

To each their own but personally, I would NEVER run my Conceal Carry through a [car wash] machine

Of course one needs to run their concealed carry card through the machine....

....maybe one gets free washes when the car wash knows the customer has a gun?

Ive paid 30 dollars a month over the last 12 months for the drive thru washes. Quick and simple.

Go to the one in Surrey Hills by the 7-11. Only $1.00 to get started and it had really good pressure.

Surry Hills sucks, half the time only one bay open, usually low pressure and/or no soap.

Installed my own water softener and UV-C water purification system. Culligan man not needed.
The hydrant where the truck would be washed is not soft water though.
