Wiping your ass was the hardest part.
I usually tell my friends that are going to have this done to wrap the hand that will have the surgery in an ACE bandage for like a week before surgery to practice using the other hand to do things. Amazing how much you use one hand vs the other for lots of different things.

I've had it and a few other surgeries on my hands and shoulders.
Can't complain about the outcomes.

Like Eagles, Dr Mokhtee did both of my carpel tunnel surgeries a few years ago. Each hand had a few months before 100 percent but absolutely no issues. Dr Dukes reworked my left shoulder 6 weeks ago fixing. A rotator cuff tear, removing inflamed tissue and arthritis and attaching my bicep that was almost detached. I highly recommend getting with Tulsa bone and joint. They can make you new again.

Interesting replies here. My wife a Beauty Cosmetologist Hair specialist for (50 some odd years) etc., had hers done in 2014 and 16. (left and right hands). She had it done by Dr Watts at St Fran in BA and was effortless on her part. Very little pain and bruising. She followed all her therapist's instructions and in about 6 weeks she was GTG. She recommends get it done, don't waste time putting it off cause it's not gonna' get any better.

So far so good, the soreness is easing up. Mainly what still hurts is the whole opposable thumb thing (moving it across my hand. I think he had to go through those muscles and it will just take a while for them to heal up. The numbness I was having trouble with before surgery, is gone already.

No carpal tunnel surgeries but had my rotator cuff done about 15 or so years ago. Did my PT then and still do it now. I'm not gonna be one of those stiff old ladies who can't climb up on their roof if they need to get the cat down. 😉😂😂
