If I am not mistaken the link to check on your concealed carry application only works for online submittals. I also mailed mine in and it took about 7 weeks before I got my permit.

I mailed mine in and it still showed up on the check status page. The sheriff does like two weeks worth of checks before the application is mailed in to OSBI.
