Academy sports and outdoors around dove season gets some good prices on case lots of shells.
Unless buying pallet or half pallet from Gene Sears, Walmart is still the cheapest at just a little over $5 a box, and every once in a while you'll find them for $4.99 at Walmart. Like Hoddy mentioned, Academy will put some on sale close to the $5 a box range.
#7.5 or 8 usually. Whatever is cheap for trap and sporting clays.
Sportsworld is usually around $50/case, I never thought to look at Walmart lol.
Walmart has been around $22 per hundred in the packs. Bout $5.50 for Estates in the 25rd box. I think I saw some Monarchs advertised for $4.99 at Academy. I recently bought 6 cases (1500 rounds) from Cabelas and basspro for $52 per flat (250 rounds) it was Remington gun club shells. That sale is over and they are back to $65 per flat. If you find em for $50 at Sportsworld please let me know here.
I am going to try to swing by during lunch tomorrow. I also saw the monarchs at academy, I will probably get those if sportsworld dissapoints me.
Those are good deals for $50 case. Gone are the days of $3.79 box at Wally lol.
If you catch the spring sale at wallyworld, Winchester offers a rebate on AA's that puts them at a little over $5 a box, but its a premium shell.
