hey, just got into casting, and i figured slugs or buck is the most idiot proof, so thats where i started. bought a lee 18 cavity #4 buck mold and cast aboot 7lbs so far. i fugured with 4s i could run it in 410s as well as 12s ( or 20s)...
my questions are:
does it matter that the balls arent completey round? you have to snip em apart out of the 3 string that they are in.
do you think i could just load em up with out clippin em? or would that have unforseen consequences?
i fiigure that at shotgun distances (self defense mainly) flying straight dont make a huge difference.
also, if anyone out there has some 00 they would trade, or temporarily swap molds, i would be interested in that
