Ah, who am I kidding! I’d do that stuff in my 20’s and 30’s without thinking about it. I’ll be 55 in a couple months. It takes some mental preparedness to do it anymore.

Wait till your late 60's, won't take 2 seconds to decide......no.

Water is warmer at those deep depths because the lakes have turned over this winter. The Oxygen rich water is on the bottom now vs summertime thermoclines where there is little oxygen past 14-18 feet deep. Take a small catalytic propane heater with you.

I've heard those stories for years growing up in OK... some scuba diver saw a fish the size of a car, etc. None of those fish ever get caught, though, or die and float to the top, etc. You got me.

Heard stories of the size of those damn fish. Size of a volkswagon...who knows.
I used to camp on the south shore there by the damn in that State RV park. Fun times.
