I found some columbia shorts at the academy that were inexpensive and had a nice deep front pocket, ran all the way down behind the cargo pocket.
Then i was at wal mart and remembered a tip from on here, i found some wrangler shorts that also had a very deep front pocket for about 10 bucks. Can't beat that.
oh, and on tim boyle, head of columbia: my wife heard him speak at an event on TU's campus and someone commented on the extra pocket in his slacks, and he said "well, right now my iphone is in there, but later my gun will be in that pocket."
So i guess it's not an accident that some of their shorts are good for ccw.
