Interested in a cheap truck or tackle box gun. Load it with rat shot for tackle box. Anybody own/shot a RIA revolver 4" or snubby??

I'd suggest looking for a police trade in S&W Model 64 instead. It will cost you a little more, but you'll at least have a firearm that would serve as truck/ all purpose gun for the rest of your lifetime.

I’ve got both.

And I’m happy with the duo. Got the 4” for 190$ new & the snub for 140$ used. They’re not super fancy but they do what I ask them too. Kinda heavy, a bit rough around the edges, but goes bang & puts lead where I’m aiming.

Thanks, I saw the 4" and was a bit heavy, they wouldn't let me try the trigger. Looked like a good deal for the money. Also, looked at EAA Windicator.

Wife has a M206 that was getting light primer strikes and took me a few to figure out that where the hammer hit the frame was uneven, Once I filed that even it has never failed since, $215 and $9 on a spring kit i did not need LOL. Little revolver is a hoot to shoot and hits where you aim and the DA is not a pig!! Wife shoots it DA only and is getting her groups down to about a tennis ball just right of bulls eye!!

It may cost a little more, but I'm in the same boat about getting a older S&W model 10 or 64. There's a bunch on GunBroker an Guns America to choose from.
