My brother has control of about 2000 acres down by lake Texhoma. There is this rock out in middle of pasture that the deer love you can see trails going to it and they lick the rock and eat the dirt around it. The thing is there is a lot rocks that looks just like this one but this is the only rock on the place they do this to.

The rock is probably composed of a critical mineral that the deer need, is my guess.

The Red Rive is salty and I'm sure this rock has salt an other minerals that attract them.
