China has two operational aircraft carriers with a third under construction.

Since the 1970s, China and its People's Liberation Army Navy has had ambitions to operate aircraft carriers, and since 1985 has acquired retired aircraft carriers for study; namely, the British-built Australian HMAS Melbourne and the ex-Soviet carriers Minsk, Kiev and Varyag. The Varyag later underwent an extensive refit to be converted into the Liaoning, China's first operational aircraft carrier, which also served as a basis for China's subsequent design iterations. As of 2018, the PLAN has two combat-ready aircraft carriers, the Liaoning and Shandong, with the third under construction.[1] It is projected that China may possess five or six aircraft carriers by the 2030s.[2]

Being that it is a communist dictatorship I personally don’t think they care about sending the masses children off to the meat grinder. They don’t have anyone to answers to. Answering to NATO is probably the only thing keeping them in check.
Most Chinese families have only one child: a son. They completely depend on this son for their support in old age and to continue the family name. If large numbers of sons are lost in war, the masses will turn on the communist party. Unless Taiwan caves and surrenders, large number of Chinese soldiers would perish getting to the island or in the landing....The waters can be quickly mined and there are going to be lots of submarines taking out their transport ships.

This and the one under construction is almost as big as US carriers and is planned to us catapult launch and China's 5th generation stealth fighter.

They also did away with the one child rule a long time ago and recently upped it to 3 per family. They are also far from starving, that is N Korea. China exports food.

They export alot of stuff but they import a LOT of grains from us. With the polulation in that country, they dont grow enough to feed everyone...so yes, they'd be in trouble with in a month.

The efforts of the Chinese communist party are failing in this regard.
In recent years, the Chinese government has gradually relaxed aspects of its one-child policy in an attempt to combat slowing population growth, but so far, progress in that area has trailed far behind the rate of decline in population growth.....unlike Japan, South Korea, the United States and Western European countries, China's population will grow old before the majority of it is anywhere near middle-income status, let alone rich. This is historically unprecedented, and its implications are made all the more unpredictable by its coinciding with the Chinese economy's forced shift away from an economic model grounded in the exploitation of inexhaustibly cheap labor toward one in which young Chinese will be expected to sustain the country's economic life as workers and as consumers.

I haven't read the whole thread, so if someone already said the following, welcome to the Great Minds Club.

I do believe if China tries to reach out to capture Taiwan and gets into a full scale war with the rest of the world, many of her people with a thirst for freedom will finish off the commies in charge for us..

Biden will not interfere in chinas dealings, he is on the take. You cannot believe anything that is coming out of a communist country or our own gov.. They are not our friends and would love for this country to implode as it is doing with all the poor feelings getting hurt around every corner. Don't underestimate china. They have been skirting the rules for a long time and Japan is not our friend either.
