Its called leftovers. After it’s cooked, cooled and you eat your fill pull the rest of the meat offa the bones and save for later. Put some in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. Good eats, long time.
Yea I am thinking about that, but the wife will want to make her infamous turkey tetrazzini. I shudder at the thought. :P

How can there be a chicken shortage? They don't get imported from china.
Every big industry has its skeletons in the closet (or market). I don’t know about the poultry industry, but beef packers have months of stored beef in freezers. All they have to do is restrict the supply, watch demand go up, then flood the market. I am told (from my former ranch manager) that this is exactly what they did when the early COVID food shortages hit. The cows didn’t go anywhere, but the companies’ desire to profit off of fear did.
