Two fights actually. The first one was at one of the Hank Williams Jr concerts there. It was a big fight involving about a dozen men and women near the front of the stage. The security response was quick, and overwhelming.

This thread may be out of place here, and I’ll let it die if it arouses any degree of antipathy. But let’s get onto the machines I gravitate towards when I compete in the drawings. Almost always I play “penny machines.” That’s a misnomer - they can go up to more than $15 a spin. I took $1,000 on a $15 spin on this penny machine. Several times during drawings over a several week period. Then they replaced it with a machine I couldn’t win on. But $15 is way high a spin for me and I only do it if I am playing their money against them.

We’ve got an EMS guy that works for their security. Pretty big dudes. Second fight occurred out on the floor, by the machines. Guy lost thousands on a machine and moved to the one beside it. Another guy gets on the machine and hits on the first spin. So the sore looser demanded the winner’s ticket and an altercation developed. Both dudes knew how to fight.

So I’m superstitious. Damned right. Not getting into the nitty gritty of it, but I wear the same ring, for example. That’s the 10k I’m holding. And they wouldn’t make me out a check. I had to carry that home, and boy, after I got into my vehicle I armed up.

Edit: I won this as an alternate, when the original winner did not respond to his name being called. Thankfully I had my card in the machine when the alternate winner was selected. I learned from this experience to leave my card in the machine until they announce that the winner has been verified. Many times the initial winner does not claim. Why? It’s loud in there for one thing. Gotta sit where you can hear.

At 0830 tomorrow morning I will be @ the Choctaw with my card in the machine in preparation for the 0900 drawing. I’m going in with $200. I have a realistic chance at taking the first drawing @ 0900, not only because the place won’t be crowded that early, but also because this particular drawing is restricted to members 50 years old and up. After 0900 my chances decrease as more people show up. If I get lucky, I will post it on this thread. But this type of drawing is anticlimactic. Anyway. Wish me luck, y’all!!!

Edit: I expect to go in with $200 and leave with $180 or $220. Anyway, if I achieve any meaningful wins I’ll post pics. And no, I don’t expect to win any of the drawings tomorrow. But I know that my chances at taking one of them are realistic.

Good luck to you. If that is your thing you go dude. I'm sure you heard this before. I don't gamble with my hard earned money. I see these casinos and wonder to myself, self, why are there so many of these all over the state? They make money that is why. They are strictly designed to separate your money from your wallet in the most extraordinary way. They pretend to give you winnings when in the long run they extract your bank account. My total gambling experience was putting a quarter in a machine in Enid at the Moose Lodge. I lost it. I inserted another one and got two quarters back. That is it, I quit. Can't stand the smoke in the casinos anyway.
