If you had a legal M16A2 that was marked and fired burst, would you convert to full auto or keep it as a burst fire group. Since its class 3 MG either would be legel. What you thoughts??

    John,

Drop a Geissele SSF unit in there and you'll be MUCH happier! Just keep the stock burst kit around so it's readily converted back to burst. :)

Keep the burst kit in a bag and never look at it again.

+3 to removing (but saving) the burst parts. You really only need a full-auto trigger, disconnector and standard hammer spring to do the swap. You can use the same selector and hammer. On the hammer you just remove the burst cam and burst style hammer spring and replace with a regular hammer spring.

I have them on my RR M16, but not on any of my semi's. Cheap insurance in my opinion as you cannot replace the receiver. YMMV

I have them in both of my M16s and both of my SBRs. GI trigger parts in all 4. The Geisselle is nice, but I don't see any benefit in my guns.

I don't think I even want to know what the price on that bad boy is right now.
