CLEO Signatures

Does anyone know whom to contact in Tulsa for a CLEO signature? I've read the Sheriff is a no-go but that the Police Chief will; can anyone confirm that?

On a side note, I think in light of the expected changes a thread on the best people to contact for signature in each county might be a good resource to start?

Hell just a list of the people in the each county . That is capable of signing would be a big plus.

I agree. I think if we could get something like that started it may end up being a good sticky. When I have some free time (which is rare) I will try to come up with some names.

Just an update:

I did try to email the chief but never received a response. I also tried calling and the person who answered did not seem to understand what I was asking (she said "would it be for general ownership or for a class?") but she thought that after a background check they would sign.

I also spoke with someone who e-mailed the sheriff. The undersheriff replied and said that after a background check they will sign, sometimes.

Anyone else with any updates would be great. And everyone should be writing their letters for the open comment period!!
