[QUOTE="Riley, post: 2584653, member: 29196"] I hope at least of couple of you have been tuned into the IRS email saga. For those who have not, there has been a non-stop effort by the IRS to deny blatant lies told to congress by the IRS. This has resulted in ridiculous claims of things like, we have the emails, we lost the emails, we lost the back ups, we found the backups, all without much interest from the media. Few if any comments about how an agency of the government gets to violate federal law pertaining to backups, etc. Little if any, discussion about professional IT guys, some well into the six figures, losing things without documentation, no effort to produce existing policy internal to the agency and how it says it's doing business, and how it evaluates itself in its efforts. Basically, they'd appear to want you to believe there is nothing that could have been done, its all a big accident that 7 employees, all targeted by congress, had their hard drives lost, emails and backup unavailable. Ah shucks.... Well, it now comes forth that there is evidence that the State department and the IRS were colluding to deprive a group their protected rights. Because at least two agencies, supposedly independent, thought they should not be entitled to those rights despite little things like, the law. Humm who could possibly coordinate not one but at least two agencies, to deprive citizens of their rights? Say it with me, the executive branch, that's who.... Sounding a little Nixon like yet??
