What is going on? The denizens of Comic-Con appear to be escaping into the wider world - someone lock the lock before any more get out.... People no longer want to live in the plain regular world it seems. We are entering some new bizzaro world.

Adding to the nationwide wave of creepy clown sightings that began in late-August was an incident Wednesday night when, police tell PEOPLE, someone in Tulsa, Oklahoma, said they were attacked by a rainbow-colored clown.

Unlike many of the previous clown reports, this incident was violent, leaving the victim bruised. But as was common in those other cases, Tulsa authorities say they have not been able to locate the clown suspect.

Jokers terrorizing one English town have met their match: Batman.

The Caped Crusader is now patrolling Whitehaven to keep the streets safe from red-nosed morons running amok — or at least make sure kids rest easy at night.

The stunt was the brainchild of a local costume shop, Cumbria Superheroes, which said it’s trying to give terrified kids some reassurance that they’re safe, according to the News & Star.

Pittsburgh pedestrians are being urged to "Look Alive" and not at their cellphones by folks dressed as though they're dead.

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and other groups are trying to "scare" pedestrians off their cellphones by having actors dressed as the Grim Reaper and zombies urging people to look up from their cellphones while they're walking downtown.

What I don't get is how many places have a law that states it's a felony to wear a mask or otherwise cover your face in makeup to conceal your identity. Why are there not hundreds of thousands of females being charged every day?
