[QUOTE="TerryMiller, post: 2131118, member: 7900"] [FONT=Georgia][SIZE=3] Yep. You guys are right. I didn't have the luxury of hearing much more than just a short part of the hearings (roughly 3 minutes}, so I missed on the sarcasm. He (the Republican) was on Glenn Beck today with a short interview and explained that they had to listen to "hours" of testimony from anti-gun folks saying that they wouldn't be comfortable with someone being able to protect themselves. Thus, he gave the sarcastic answer and I missed it entirely. My bad for calling him a weasel. On the other hand, he was asked by Glenn as to what was happening in Colorado, what with the bills being so poorly written that pump shotguns would be illegal because of the "possibility" of expanding their round capacity. He told Glenn that a few well-heeled folks are donating heavily to the Democratic Party in Colorado and that the legislature had redistricted the state to "water down" the influence of the Republican voters in the state.
