Well, if he happens to fall and hit his head on concrete he has a cushion. I don't care for Nikes anymore anyway. There are too many other brands. Why Nike did this is beyond me, they obviously weren't thinking.

The Nike advertising market is not designed for US in any way, shape or form. The folks who are willing to spend gun money prices for shoes are generally not found on forums such as this. Under Armour, ADIDAS, New Balance and Merrill are more aligned with the market most of us fit into and there is no way NIKE gives 2 hoots about what the average, 30-75 year old caucasian male thinks anywho... Just my thirty five pennies worth.
