I have a Marlin 1894S with some pitting on the receiver I'd like to get Case hardened. Always loved the look, but didn't want to damage detract from the original. With the surface pitting and mild surface rust on this one I figured I'd finally look into it. I know Turnbull's is recommended as the premier restoration authority, but I'm looking closer to home. Does anyone have any recommendations and/or experience with gunsmith refinishing here in town?
