That's very strange. Admittedly I haven't tested all of mine. Could you tell what part of the BCG was rubbing or causing the problem? Any marks when trying it repeatedly like scratches or rub on the finish?

It appears the gas key is the problem.(based on my other BCG working fine in the upper and this BCG not working in any upper.)

UPDATE:

Received a new BCG in the mail today along with another charging handle. Put it in the upper and it works perfectly. They sent no return instructions for the old BCG, so I have a spare charging handle, spare bolt, carrier and firing pin!! Or I could get a new gas key....
Anyway very satisfied with the customer service and the product. Thank you Combat Armory!!
