Concealed carry while cycling on river trail?

The river trail states no weapons of any kind, but does that go for ccw holder?
and does it matter if the trail belongs to state, city etc?

IANAL, but I would think that the trails would fall into the realm of a city "recreation area", which is on the list of places we specifically CAN carry.

What weapon? I'd rather ask forgiveness and be alive than dead and legal. Second, who's going to pressure for trespass?
