The three screw Blackhawks and Single Sixes are starting to take off finally (unfortunately as I need a 30 Carbine to complete my collection). You are right about the DA revolvers going up too, but short of a limited run of something collectable will never increase with the S&W or Colt. I love the quote used in every Ruger revolver review..."They're built like tanks...look how beefy..." No kidding Chet...everything is cast including the frame. It has to be larger😄. That's not a crack on Ruger. They've figured out how to make a robust revolver. Heck some of the hotter 45 Colt loads will say "Blackhawk or Freedom Arms only" in the manuals. Mostly my point is just to point out that a cheaper production process will not maintain/increase in value as well as a more expensive one. I know someone is about to fire up their keyboard in order to flame me for hating on Ruger revolvers. I don't, I own seven of them.
