I totally agree with the re-training, even very basic training. I offered my place a couple years ago for one of our Ham Radio friends who was a very good Instructor and had owned a gun shop a few years back to put on a couple classes to other Ham guys. I sat through them, making burgers for my friends for lunch and picked up a couple new tid-bits each class. Second class I mentioned about driving on the Post Office property to the outside drop box at 3AM being technically illegal thing with a firearm in your car that even he was not aware of. Ya never know it all, and you are never too old to learn.
