It's not a hunt. It's a removal of extras. I'm guessing they are nearing or over carrying capacity for the area. The catch being, IF you are selected you will be shooting one and helping other remove animals, on foot (no motorized traffic), for 5 days. Anyone selected have better had Wheaties for breakfast for the last year.
I saw the non motorized recovery. I'd still do it. Helped buddy's remove elk from Wichita Mtn hunt.
