I dont see any beans so it aint chili.
My wife thinks the same but I tend to disagree. If it takes beans to make your chili taste good then it ain’t very good to start with. 😉😂
FYI I won the chili cook-off at church last year. First time entering one. 😜

Sorry to call you out on this, but most of the church members at your church have dementia. The chili and bread does look amazing!

Just pulled a batch of French Bread out of the oven. I usually end up standing at the counter with a bread knife in one hand and a cube of butter in the other. View attachment 354250
Very nice!

We use French bread to make pizza.
Slice in half, hollow out the center and start loading the center with goodies.
These have sausage, shrooms, jalapeño, bell pepper, banana peppers, onion, fresh garlic, basil and pepperoni.
Extra sharp cheddar cheese and mozzarella for a topping.
Cooked on a pizza stone at 350 until the cheese melted, then put the broiler on to add color to the cheese.

It's danged tasty though. The only thing I would change is that I'd add a layer of cheese to each layer of ingredients to lock them together. The way it was done, the cheese didn't have a chance to get to the precooked veggi's and sausage to bind it together. Can't have too much cheese!
It freezes nicely and comes back to life in an air fryer.
