Didn't take a pic, but mama surprised me with a huge plate of Swiss Steak tonight (been a long time).

I am now semi comatose in the recliner....may not make it to bed

Recliner comfy here, too, but it is potato soup warming up my innards. Goes good with corn muffins...

Home Depot has Weber hardwood briquettes on clearance for $3.90 / 20lbs bag.

These usually go for 20$/bag.
Thinking I may go back for a few more to stock up.

I made this beef stew recipe tonight and my first thought was, it might be fantastic with venison. So one of you with some venison stew meat and a bottle of good dry red wine, make it and let us know.

Almost forgot, it was great with beef too. The meat was even tender enough I could eat it with my new partial without issue.

B&B Salisbury Steaks for dinner. Funny thing is, the wivey loves the gravy I make with these. Should I tell her it is packaged that I make up, pour over the meat, onions and mushrooms and let simmer?
