Where did they find that color @jmike314 I never seen it before. Also I like they went all out on master touch. Well done and Happy Birthday. I am sure this was just their plot to get you to make them more good eats.
Last year Weber introduce some site exclusive colors for the Master Touch:
> Slate Blue
> Smoke
> Ivory
> Spring Green

Recently they added a new color for stores:
> Deep Ocean Blue

I now have to find a way to get her to let me have the smoke one too.

Quarantine eating is pretty good!
Hear ya. Watching the cooking channel during the day at times keeps me thinking of new stuff to make in the evening. Don't have pics, but smoked elk burgers with onion, garlic, hatch green chilies diced up and mixed with the meat on the smoker tonight.

Decided to make an attempt at green salsa. Everybody make the red kind. I wanted some verde.

So...smoked some tomatillos, garlic cloves, jalapeños, serranos, an onion, & a poblano first a couple of hours with some post oak.

Then charred them up over some hot coals.

Skinned them and threw it all in a pot with a little water to boil. Took that and tossed it in a blender with cilantro. Then back into the pot with some heated olive oil to simmer down.

Final product tastes real darn good.

We make that verde on occasion. Great for dipping. In the summer we have been known to use green tomatoes in place of the tomatillos.

@jmike314 where is the pork chunks? You were almost there man. Looks delicious.

Man.....I thought about that as I was taste testing at the end. The other .5 and I love some green chili pork. I don’t know if I have any in the freezer - maybe I can get lucky at the butcher tomorrow.

Time for some treager smoked maple sausage. I coated them in pancake syrup last night and poked a fork all over the tops so it would run inside.
Give it 4 hours smoke and it will be done in the middle.
