Cookson Elk Hunt - Controlled Hunt

I know there is only 1 tag for this hunt, but curious why they applicant numbers aren’t as high as the Wichita Mts ones…. Are the bulls not as big in Cookson or another reason?

Probably has to do the mental aspect of only one shot out of thousands, instead of attempting to draw 50 out of 10000 at Wichita MTS lol.
