I have a Kobalt 24V drill that got where it wouldn't drill, and the led light would flash rapidly. Changing the battery didn't help at all so I did a search for a cure. One of the causes listed was the direction switch wasn't pushed all the way over. So, I tried that, and it was all the way over. Then I pushed the direction switch back and forth quickly about 20 times and now it seems to work fine. When I was searching for the cure for my drill, I found this happens with other brands and different kinds of cordless tools. I guess the contact area in my switch was just dirty. I thought I'd post this because it seems to be a common problem. This is the first problem I've had with any of my Kobalt cordless tools.
