That Fox kit is looking at my boot tapping . About three feet away. We had the parents and three kits in our pasture for about four/ five months. Also neighbor shot one

What's that black stuff all over your driveway?

At times, I wish that we had some of that black stuff out here- we live almost 4 miles to the nearest asphalt. Then, I get to thinking about how peaceful it is out here when nobody wants to come down your road at all and I'm all happy again.

It only runs around that corner and reverts to gravel and 1/10 mile of 12% grade down the hill and another 2/10 mile to the county road.
