Just a few quick and dirty pics of my new to me S&W pistols. I bought these two revolvers to use as conceal carry guns. Just picked them up today and haven't cleaned them up yet but I like what I see so far. I have never owned a Model 49 but thought the design was cool looking and easy to conceal with the almost hidden hammer. I have owned Model 36's but the ones I used to own were too pretty to carry around. This older flat latch looks to be in good condition, but it has been carried and has some wear so it can continue in that role. The 36 looks like an early 1960's model and mid 1970's for the 49 based on serial number information I found. Thanks for looking!
