Any reason you can think of to not put an upside down tote over the brass polishers to keep dust completely localized?
Only possibility I can think of is heat...it might get hot in there.

I've covered mine with a rubber bin before and checked it periodically. It didn't get very hot, certainly not any hotter than running it in a garage on a summer day.

On my Lyman Turbo 1200, I put a 9" styrofoam plate over the spindle, put the lid on and screw it down. It eliminates the problem with dust and works like magic.
