Wished I had measured the trigger pull before I started on this little project. After is still 5.5 pounds but it feels much lighter. Being careful I didn't mess with the release other than polishing the surfaces, cut one coil off the hammer spring and did the mod to eliminate the rebounding hammer. The guy that did the hammer mod cut 3 coils off but again I wanted to make sure I didn't break a working gun. This is not an easy gun to disassemble or reassemble, if you do not do everything in the proper order it simply will not go back together. Most of the time it took was figuring out the order to install the parts. The hammer spring was quite a challenge to install after I cut it. I am not a strong person and had to rig up a jig on my drill press to compress the spring so I could get a pin in to hold it in place. Before I go any further (if I ever do) going to run a few hundred rounds through it to loosen it up a bit.
