Coyotes and geese?

I have noticed there have been tons of geese flying North lately, and at night you can hear them on the River from a mile away. Do you think that would be a good spot to set up and keep an eye out for coyotes? I don't know if they would go for a huge flock of geese like that or not?

Can’t say I’ve ever seen a coyote stalk or hang near a flock, but heck they are opportunist animals.

We see them frequently around roost ponds during the winter. Wounded ones from being shot and dying later occur frequently and they wash up on the banks and make an easy meal.

Coyotes spend a lot time stalking geese.

I was a goose guide for several years. We jumped several, shot a few, seen a lot.
