[QUOTE="RickN, post: 3572959, member: 8854"] Wife wanted to go to Cracker Barrel for dinner tonight and since I have only eaten there once I wanted to try it again. Being how I had 5 more broken teeth removed from another fall, and a new upper denture I wanted something soft and easy to chew. Since I had never tried grilled Rainbow trout I ordered that, knowing it would not be as good as fresh caught. It was not bad but I burped it for hours. The beans and mac & cheese were not bad for a restaurant. In fact I think the mac & cheese was Stouffer's which the wife and I both like. Wife said the shrimp dinner was good. Next time I will try the shrimp or a hamburger steak. Now for the good part and what made it worth going to. While checking out we happen to notice a selection of roll candies. Lifesaver 5 flavor, Lifesavers Butter Rum, and Reed's root beer. We bought one of each because it has been decades since we have seen the butter rum or root beer. I ate one of the root beer tonight and they still taste like the real thing. We will be going back every now and then since it does not cost anymore than Boomerang and the food is much better.
