This is wild.
I had a buck get his antlers caught in a critter cage about 5-6 years ago. When he pulled it over he got free though. Those cages are almost a necessity but they have their pitfalls.

Put a cage on another feeder about two weeks ago. The extra noise kept the deer off for a week or so.
They are back in there now.
