Custom Browning A-Bolt

Here is a Browning A-Bolt in 6.5-284 that I just finished...

While I was taking pictures of the Browning, I spotted this coyote out in the pasture....

Very nice as always. Is that a Macmillan ? I have a scary accurate abolt that is chambered in 7stw that I'm wanting to get restocked but can't decide between Macmillan or manners. I've got other projects on the fire first but am curious. Did you replace the trigger spring ? Or do something different ? I've done that on my two a bolts with the timney spring kit makes a huge difference.

The stock is a McMillan....

Yes, I did replace the trigger spring, as well as hone the sear and trigger. Per customers request, the trigger has been adjusted down to break cleanly at 32 oz....

I have a Browning A Bolt stainless stalker that I'm partial to. Its my elk/deer gun if I'm going for longer distances. Love that short throw bolt.

I have never owned a Browning A-Bolt but, I like that short bolt throw too...

This particular Browning will soon be headed to Texas, where it's new owner (and wife) plan on putting a hurt on the local hog population....
