Had this built in 762/39 . Friend had a 300 black out ar that said a bolt gun in 762/ 39 could not out shoot. Only rule was bolt gun could not be worth more than the 1200 he had in his gun and no long barrel. This rifle has a Shelen Target barrel cut to 19.5 inches. (Same as his blackout). Lapped lugs, trued bolt face, and reworked Remy adjustable trigger set at just under 2#. Stock is a Stockys with the full block aluminum insert. It floats the barrel and beds it. Scope rail is schuvarsky 0 MOA. it was rechambered to .308 after it out shot the 300 BO mounted in a wood stock. In fact it smoked the 300 out to 250 yds. As a 308 in the Stockys stock it will shoot FAR better than I can! The gunsmith that built the rifle has 37 yrs experience. Re chambering it to 308 was a minor step because the 2 rounds are so similar. I also had him ceracoat the stainless barrel, and the action. I’ve got over 1400 in the rifle. I need 950 cash or 1050+ trade value. I would trade it for a nice shotgun of equal value. Additional pics posted on this listing in a bit. I also have about 45 rods of hand loaded 308 the gunsmith loaded for me to shoot and a box of 20 rods of store bought 308. I an make them part of the deal but at an extra cost. Specs on the loads are available if you want them. He used top quality stuff to load them
