CZ Kadet and CZ 75 Compact

Does anyone know if the CZ Kadet slide will function on a CZ 75 Compact?

I was going to say that you can email CZ. They are quick to respond. They can probably give you the answer within 24 hours.
Do you have the compact? If so, how do you like it?

One way to find out.... I once put an FN slide assembly in .40 S&W on a FM M-90 9mm frame (the M-90 is an Argentine made version of the FN Hi Power) just to see if it would work (no one I ran across on the Web had ever tried it). It fired the first round, jammed solid on the second. But I did find out that it wouldn't work.

I wish I still had my Compact to try this out with...that is one gun I regret selling. I still might get a P-01 though...they are not just a great design, but they are beautiful pistols too.

They're supposed to fit on all 75 models, compact, pcr, sp01 etc. Won't fit p07/p09 and I've heard hit and miss fit on the rami. I plan on getting one when money allows. Wish they made one with a factory threaded barrel.

I sold my p-01 and got a PCR--I'm just not a fan of rails or the tactical style. I put some wood grips on it and it's the sexiest pistol I own. Now I just need to get a LNeal holster for it when I get a a little gun money to play with! Oh, and also.....my wife hates the trigger length so a Cajun Gun Works length reduction kit may be in its future as well
