[QUOTE="Billybob, post: 3158395, member: 1294"] The simple facts are age, gender, and sex have been weaponized for societal and political purposes. Age and gender are used as factors to promote emotion over logic and class warfare. Sex has been determined to be both an asset/commodity to be used while at the same time something to be treated as special if not "holy" depending on how someone wants to use it at the time. The question we must ask ourselves is are the results beneficial or negative, what are our society and politics like compared to times past and how have those changes effected the nation as a whole? You are correct about the double standard issue and reporting/perceptions. Recently Weinstein victim and leading figure of the #metoo movement Asia Argento at 37yrs. old was outed(with evidence) for raping a 17yr.old boy, (a child by the standards in place). there's even a pic she posted calling him "My son my love" which of course would be considered quite creepy among other terms if a man called a young girl he's sleeping with daughter. Where is the outrage? Seen much reporting on it? Heard anybody calling her a cougar or pedophile? What do we see in other reactions and treatment of this issue that's pretty rampant in the school systems.
